This was a triumph.
[In a large clearing somewhat near the castle, construction is already underway on the cannon! ...Kind of! They've got the materials for it, at least! The camera now focuses in on Klarth, Keele, his faithful assistant Meredy, and possibly even any other geniuses who are willing to work on such a daunting task!]

[hey, a start is a start. Klarth is still a tad rattled from almost being killed by a crazy replica, so he's quite pleased to lose himself in the tedious work of completing a canon in time to save the world]

[Keele is situated over a table, sketching up some plans for the cannon as we speak.

He turns away from the blueprints, however, towards Klarth.

...Professor Klarth. Do you mind if I ask you a question?

[looks up from the pile of parts] ...? Go ahead.

...I understand you're a summoner. How skilled are you at summoning Volt?
26th-Sep-2008 11:27 pm (UTC)
Volt? He is as easy as any elemental summon, really. And for one who has mastered even the summoning of Origin, King of Spirits, that is quite easy indeed!
26th-Sep-2008 11:28 pm (UTC)
I see... Your summoning Volt will be key to the success of this cannon.
26th-Sep-2008 11:36 pm (UTC)
We'll use the summon spirit's mana as power, then?
26th-Sep-2008 11:41 pm (UTC)
Yes. It's a design similar to the Craymel Cannon I helped to build on Celestia. It uses the power of Volt as a power source to fuel the cannon, creating an immensely powerful shot.
26th-Sep-2008 11:44 pm (UTC)
And that shot will be just what we need!
26th-Sep-2008 11:46 pm (UTC)
Yes! But first... We'll need to build the weapon before we can use it.
26th-Sep-2008 11:50 pm (UTC)
True... Where shall we begin? [moving over to the blueprint table!]
26th-Sep-2008 11:54 pm (UTC)
The base of the cannon, of course. The cannon needs a strong foundation on which to stand.
27th-Sep-2008 12:02 am (UTC)
Right! Then, to work!
